James Osmond

James Osmond is CEO of Triptease, helping hotels worldwide win back their direct bookings. A philosophy grad from Cambridge, he started at Unilever before co-founding Clear, a brand strategy consultancy acquired by M&C Saatchi.

James has spent his career bringing strategic clarity to industries from finance to hospitality and has always focused on one thing: how businesses create real value for customers. Now he’s applying that thinking to hotels that are tired of handing some of their revenue to OTAs.

After decades of defending his philosophy degree at dinner parties, James is enjoying watching the tech world grapple with the same existential questions he tackled as an undergrad.

He lives in London with his family and their supremely unimpressed dog.
